Malta: Industrial actions possible at Lowenbrau brewery

The Union Haddiema Maghqudin (UHM) has informed the management of the LBM Breweries, the producers of the Lowenbrau beer in Malta, that it is ready to order industrial actions in the coming days or weeks after the two parts failed to reach an agreement over the Collective Agreement, local media posted on January 13.

The Hotels, Food and Beverages Section within the UHM has written to the management of the company on Wednesday and informed them that it was registering an industrial dispute and that it had no other alternative other than take the actions necessary in such circumstances.
